Deep groove ball bearings, also known as radial ball bearings, are used in a variety of applications. They are the most popular of all rolling bearings, capable of very high speeds and are available in a wide array of sizes and options. Tapered Roller Bearings

Tapered Roller Bearings consist of four interdependent components: the cone, the cup, the tapered rolling elements and the retainer. The taper angles allow the bearing to handle a combination of radial and thrust loads. Available in both inch and metric sizes LNK offers a variety of configurations of tapered roller bearings such as single-row, double-row and four-row. Needle Roller Bearings

A needle roller bearing utilizes small cylindrical rollers to reduce friction of a rotating surface. Needle roller bearings have a large surface area dispersing load over a larger area when compared to the ball bearings point to point contact. The lower profile construction of the needle roller bearing allows for a more compact application design. The typical needle bearing consists of an inner race, a needle cage, the needle rollers themselves, and an outer race. Often there is no inner race and the needle bearing rides directly on a shaft. Standard needle bearings are available in both inch and metric dimensions for bores as small as 4mm, while heavy duty needle roller bearings can accommodate bores up to 10”.
Integral Shaft Bearings

LNK provides water pump bearings, also referred to as integral shaft bearings. Integral shaft bearings are double row bearings with inner raceways that are machined directly into the integrated shaft. This provides additional space for rolling elements, enabling higher specific load-carrying capability as compared to single bearings. The small design envelope enables a broad range of load-carrying capabilities. These bearings are commonly customized for a wide range of non-automotive applications. Spherical Roller Bearings

Spherical roller bearings are predominantly double row roller bearings with a common sphere shaped inner raceway of the outer ring. This outer ring provides the spherical roller bearings a self-aligning feature making them forgiving to misalignment of the shaft relative to the housing. Spherical roller bearings can handle both heavy radial and axial loads. These bearings are available with a cylindrical or a tapered bore for mounting with or without a sleeve adapter. Spherical roller bearings are also available for specialized applications or can be customized to address your specific application.
Cylindrical Roller Bearings

Cylindrical roller bearings provide the highest possible radial load capacity compared to other roller bearing types. Due to the surface line contact between rolling elements and raceways, cylindrical roller bearings have high radial load capacity and are suited for high-speed applications. With a high strength cage design our cylindrical roller cages are comprised of pressed steel, machined brass or polyamide and offer low noise, low heat generation and, for more arduous applications, can be supplied in a range of advanced special materials or coatings. Insert Bearings

Standard housings are typically produced from high tensile strength cast iron although materials such as ductile iron, stainless steel, pressed steel and thermoplastic housing materials are also produced to address the many different applications. LNK Industrial is able to offer two styles of insert bearings. Bearings utilizing a sperate eccentric locking collar to secure the bearing to the shaft and bearings that utilize set screws located in the extended inner ring. Both style of insert bearings are available in 52100 chromium steel and stainless steel. Different plating options are also available to address specific application hazards.
Radial Shaft Seals

Oil seals are used to seal around a rotating shaft and retain an oil-based lubricant inside the desired application. Grease seals are used to seal more viscous grease lubricants in rotary shaft applications. Self Aligning Ball Bearings

Self-aligning ball bearings have two rows of balls and a common sphered raceway in the outer ring. The bearings are able to handle angular misalignment of the shaft relative to the housing.This type of ball bearing is recommended when alignment of the shaft and housing is difficult and the shaft may flex.
